Your confidentiality is protected by the Data Protection Act (1998) and from 25 May 2018 by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which prohibits the FHCC from passing your details to anyone other than those people who need to know. We are transparent about what information we hold about you. We demonstrate our commitment to describe what personal identifying information is collected, how and when we might use your information, how we protect your information, who has access to your information, how you can correct any inaccuracies in your information and the options you have with regard to how your personal information is used. The personal information we collect may include: titles, names, address and contact details such as telephone number and email address. We will use this information for the following reasons: · To manage membership and payment details · To send you information which we think may be of interest or to improve our membership services. This will include newsletters, updates on activities, volunteering opportunities and transactions. We may use the personal information you provide to contact you regarding upcoming events, Church services, and information both from ourselves and possibly third parties that we believe you may find interesting. In general you can visit our Websites without providing any personal information. However, if users register to obtain access to some parts of our Websites or Services we may request that you voluntarily supply us with certain personal information. Some of the information requested will be required to use the Websites or Services and some may be optional. Personal Information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including but not limited to a first and last name, company name, e-mail address, telephone number, physical address, billing information and other such information needed to provide the Services that you request. Personal Information does not include aggregate or non-personally identifiable information. We will only pass your details onto third parties as required by law or have a legitimate reason for doing so. For example if you have made a Gift Aid Declaration to the FHCC, we are required to submit some of your personal data (title, name and address) to HMRC in order that the FHCC can reclaim UK tax on your subscriptions and/or donations.

In order to comply with your request, we may ask you to verify your identity. Disclosure will only be permitted to persons who have provided suitable identification. If you wish to update or correct your personal information, please send us an email on friendshcc@outlook.com clearly stating which changes you wish to make.
